ACOG and FDA Agree That Terbutaline Cannot Be Used Beyond 72 Hours


ACOG agrees with FDA that Terbutaline, for the prevention or treatment of preterm labor, cannot be used beyond 72 hours. It could result in maternal cardiac disease and even death.
